Its almost as twisted as Schrade. Simmons 1st used the KK name on axes then on other edged tools. Simmons Hardware became E.C.Simmons & CO.
All blades stamped E.C. Simmons Keen Kutter St. Louis MO with the keystone logo - master has pattern #3833 on reverse (see photos). All blades snap and have no side to side movement in the open position. Blades have patina and a few specs. The pearl handles are chip and crack free. Knife is 3 3/8 inches closed.
